Abstract

1. 1. l-Tyrosine decarboxylase apoenzyme of Streptococcus faecalis can easily decar boxy late dihydroxyphenylalanine and this aromatic l-amino acid decarboxylase is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme. 2. 2. The activity of this enzyme involved in the decarboxylation of dihydroxyphenylalanine is continuously inhibited by dihydroxyphenylalanine melanin.
