Inheritance of Culm Length in Rye (<italic>Secale cereale</italic> L.)

Abstract

Rye seed production and quality often are reduced by lodging, which is caused in part by long culm or straw length. A population with a culm length less than 50% of the normal long is available, but the inheritance of this trait is unknown
