Abstract
The Chinese government attaches great importance to and is committed to the protection of intangible cultural heritage. Chinese traditional music is an important part of China's intangible cultural heritage. It is China's precious cultural wealth and is protected by the state. This article first introduces the connotation and different categories of intangible cultural heritage, and then from the perspective of intangible cultural heritage, it focuses on the strategies and approaches for the inheritance and development of traditional Chinese music.
