Abstract
This article deals with the infrastructure and Internet facilities for accessing on-line journals through the consortium in medical Institutions libraries in Bangalore City. This article projects the details pertaining to the number of browsing terminals, band-width and Internet service providers. Attempt has also been made to study the Internet browsing facility extended to the medical institutions faculty for accessing on-line journals. The training needs of the library staff in order to facilitate access to online journals are depicted in the study restricted to the medical institutions in Bangalore City.
