Abstract
The high resolution infrared spectrum of the linear centro-symmetric molecule13C215N2(cyanogen) has been measured in the region from 1950 to 2150 cm−1. The ν3fundamental band and the difference band ν1–ν5were observed in that region. Hot-band transitions arising from the ν5, 2ν5, 3ν5, and ν4levels were also measured with the ν3band. The ν3fundamental band and first hot band for15N12C13C15N were also measured.
