Abstract
Infrared spectra of gaseous 16O 3 and 18O 3 have been recorded at low temperature. Analysis of thirty-three vibrotational bands permits the observation of Darling and Dennison resonance and gives harmonic frequencies (cm −1): 16ω 1 = 1134.9, 18ω 1 = 1070.0, 16ω 2 = 716.0, 18ω 2 = 674.75, 16ω 3 = 1089.2, 18ω 3 = 1026.5, Potential and force constants are calculated through second order.
