A. ; Gehrz, R. D. ; Smith, J. R. ; Strecker, D. W. Abstract Out of 10 Wolf-Rayet stars observed in the infrared, long period infrared light variations have been observed in HD 193793 and HD 192641. The variations are interpreted in terms of changes in the electron densities, radii, and mass loss rates of the circumstellar shells of these stars using a free-free emission model. Visual spectral changes observed in HD 193793 between 1967 and 1975 may be related to the infrared variations.
