Abstract

A fusion method of infrared and visible image based on gradient reconstruction is proposed. Firstly, the structure tensor of infrared image and visible image is pre fused, and then the pre fused image is re fused based on gradient reconstruction and Poisson equation to get the final fusion image. The experimental results show that the method is effective, and the fusion image can synthesize better target feature information of infrared image and scene detail information of visible image, which has better performance than other image fusion methods
