Abstract

The effect of electrical anharmonicity on the shape of IR and Raman hydrogen-stretching bands with the multiband structure is examined for hydrogen-bonded complexes in non-active solvents. This mechanism generates the shift and changes in the profile of bands in comparison to those they would have in the absence of this phenomenon.
