Abstract
The BCS IT Impact events are one link in the chain of building the case for societal change. They provide a platform for inspirational speeches and grist to the conversational mill. ‘Information without borders’ looked at some of the issues around personal data and the reality of cross-sector information sharing – with this vital caveat: People don’t care about personal data, they care about people, and their lives.
