Abstract
Abstract This article presents the results of research on the controversial issue of content and structure of information technology courses in MBA programs offered by AACSB-accredited schools of business. Results suggest that one MIS course is insufficient to provide MBAs with the skills and knowledge needed to compete in the marketplace as determined by a survey of non-MIS faculty. Requirements for upgrade and improvement of course content by subject areas are outlined for two courses: one for beginners and another for intermediate-level students.
