Abstract

This paper is based on a study that was undertaken to survey technological developments and changes in TEN Southern African academic libraries in the following universities: Copperbelt University (Zambia), University of Fort Hare (South Africa), University of Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe), University of Botswana (Botswana), Rhodes University (South Africa), University of Lesotho (Lesotho), University of Port Elizabeth (South Africa), University of Pretoria (South Africa), University of Namibia (Namibia), and North-West University(South Africa).
