Abstract

As the largest manmade physical system to be built in the near future, the global energy interconnection (GEI) features close coupling between power systems and information systems. Risks of information systems will have great impacts on the security of the power systems. With a series of risk factors of information systems defined, a risk assessment model for coupled physical-information systems is proposed in this paper. A risk evaluation method is presented. Simulations results of a typical power system and information networks demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed assessment model and evaluation method.
