Abstract
An information system for surgical emergency units based on a computer-assisted decision-making system is described. The system includes a module for statistical processing of 2D computer tomograms. The system provides 3D simulation of chest and abdomen in patients with liver injuries. The 3D-model determines anatomical reference points for combined access to poorly accessible surgical sites in patients with liver injury.
