Abstract
Information Support of Russian Universities in Core Research Areas
Highlights
Introduction: integration of scientific literature into education process, information support of teaching and research with scholarly information directly impacts the level of education and science and determine national and international university ranking and reputation
Materials and Methods: the study draws on bibliometric methods, keyword searches and analytical services and functionality of Web of Science Core Collection database
Materials and instruments include lists of resources subscribed within the projects of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and Russian Foundation for Basic Research; sets of articles downloaded as a result of keyword searches; journal title lists of the Web of Science (WoS) CC and Scopus and mappings of the WoS Categories and fields of science in classifications of OECD and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation

Введение: интеграция научной литературы в образование и информационная поддержка учебного и исследовательского процессов оказывают непосредственное влияние на уровень образования и науки в университете и тем самым определяют его репутацию и рейтинг как на национальном, так и на мировом уровне. В России была создана и успешно развивается национальная система информационного обеспечения российской науки и образования за счет предоставления доступа к подписным научным ресурсам. Результаты исследования: определены и рассчитаны количественные значения параметра обеспеченности научной информацией по пяти приоритетным направлениям развития науки и технологии, шести рубрикам первого уровня классификатора Организации экономического сотрудничества и развития и шести отраслям науки классификатора Минобрнауки РФ. Уровень обеспеченности для всех исследованных приоритетных направлений и отраслей науки превысил докризисные показатели. Отмечен сравнительно невысокий уровень обеспеченности информацией по отраслям «Сельскохозяйственные науки» и «Гуманитарные науки», представлен список дополнительных ресурсов по ним.
