Abstract

ABSTRACTThe objective of this panel is to discuss a multi‐faceted conceptual framework to link information literacy theory and practice. The panelists will present findings of their research into adult and young users' knowledge of and competencies in information literacy in varied information environments. The ultimate goal of the panel is to build consensus on a future research agenda that could lead to bridging the gap between information literacy theory and practice.
