Abstract

Objective To explore the influencing factors of treatment compliance and nursing strategy in traumatic epilepsy patients. Methods The treatment compliance, effectiveness and influencing factors of 64 patients from July 2012 to June 2013 were investigated by self-designed questionnaires, then put forward the nursing strategy. Results The treatment compliance of traumatic epilepsy was only 56.3%, and the treatment effectiveness was improved with the increasing compliance, the differences were statistically significant (χ2=10.100, P<0.05). Compliance was influenced by anxiety, drug side-effects, disease treatment knowledge and low efficacy. Conclusions The therapeutic effect of traumatic epilepsy was affected by compliance, and we should formulate systematic nursing intervention measures to improve the compliance and make better treatment effect.
