Abstract

Studies suggest that TCM (short for Traditional Chinese Medicine) tacit knowledge is the main of TCM knowledge, whose transfer problem has impeded the inheritance and development of TCM and competitiveness of CMH (short for Chinese medicine hospital). The paper takes the carriers of CMH-TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine within Chinese Medicine Hospital) tacit knowledge, conducting the empirical analyses in terms of influence factors of CMH-TCM tacit knowledge transfer and transfer effect. Besides, we build a comprehensive theoretical system based on the content, environment and subject of knowledge transfer. Through Amos construction equation, we conclude that the social networking density in departments, ties and connections among department members, knowledge integration and transfer willingness positively correlate to the transfer effect of CMH tacit knowledge, while the social networking centrality in departments goes conversely. The paper also discusses the factors and effects above on the policy implications of CMH-TCM knowledge transfer.
