Abstract

Several recent studies have examined outcomes in children with traumatic brain injury (TBI) of varying severity. Peterson and colleagues studied a series of 278 children with mild TBI (mean age, 15 years; 56% male) who were referred for neuropsychological testing because of persistent symptoms (mean, 2 months).
