Abstract
Rationale: Though fermented milk has been demonstrated to have various physiological functions, whether it affects gut associated lymphoid tissue (GALT) or not remains unclear. Herein, we examined influences of a fermented milk on GALT, i.e. cell numbers and phenotypes of Peyer patch (PP), intraepithelial (IE), and lamina propria (LP) lymphocytes in mice.
