Abstract

The authors investigated the influence of various temperatures with a minimum action of natural and artificial light on 17-D Yellow Fever virus vaccine reconstituted for various purposes and on the vaccine diluted for use on humans. It was found in three different batches of vaccine that the time recommended for preservation of the vaccine in an ice-water bath did not need to be followed rigorously. At temperatures below 22°C the vaccine was still usable at the end of a working day.
