Abstract
Superplasticity is associated with large tensile elongation and high strain rate sensitivity. This paper analyzes theoretically the influence of variation of high strain rate sensitivity on necking and limit strain. Topics considered include metals, plasticity, strain rate, tensile properties, elongation, and sensitivity analysis.
