Abstract

1. For heterocyclic β-ketoesters, which can have different solvation of the same portions of the keto form and enol, the Meyer equation is not fulfilled. 2. The difference in the free energies of solvation of the similar portions of the ketone and enol forms was determined for a series of heterocyclic β-ketoesters in water, acetonitrile, and alcohols.
