Abstract

We consider the nonstationary problem of emission of acoustic waves by a thick-walled spherical piezoelectric transducer connected to a generator of electric pulses via an oscillatory circuit with concentrated parameters. The transient process is modeled by equations of the coupled theory of electroelasticity, acoustic approximation, and the quasistatic theory for the electric circuit. We propose a method with the help of which the problem is reduced to the solution of the system of Volterra integral equations with retarded arguments. On the basis of the performed numerical calculations, we estimate the influence of a wire line on the processes running in a hydroelectroelastic system.
