Abstract

The article presents a study of the influence of the nature of chemical solvents on the spectroscopic properties of vanadyl complexes. These compounds are used as biologically active analytical reagents and catalysts. Vanadyl (II) complexes were structured according to a typical procedure. To determine the spectral and luminescent properties of the synthesized organic compounds, dimethyl sulfoxide and distilled water were used. The results of the obtained experimental and computational studies show that the compounds under study change their spectral characteristics with the addition of binary solvents.
