Abstract
The isochronal and isothermal relaxation curves of the magnetic after-effect (MAE) of amorphous ferromagnetic Co 58Ni 10Fe 5Si 11B 16 were measured before and after annealing the specimens in a longitudinal magnetic field of 8 Oe. It was found that the amplitude of the MAE increases with increasing induced anisotropy K in. During the isothermal MAE measurement the change in K in and the free volumes within the domain wall lead to an abnormal decrease of the reluctivity. Within the framework of two-level systems (H. Kronmüller, Phys. Status Solidi B, 127 (1985) 531) the experimental results of the MAE measurements are discussed.
