Abstract

We study the interaction of a one-mode electromagnetic field with a three-level Λ-type atom in the presence of a classical homogeneous gravitational field. The atom and the field are initially prepared in the excited state and the coherent state, respectively. The model includes the detuning parameters and the classical homogenous gravitational field. The wave function is calculated using the Schr¨odinger equation. We analyze the effect of the detuning parameter and the classical homogenous gravitational field on the statistical properties of the mean photon number and the normalized second-order correlation function. Taking these parameters into account, we are able to estimate their effect on the phenomena under consideration, reach a conclusion, and give some important features.
