Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of the 1 830 excellent nursing service on quality of primary care and patient satisfaction in maternity department.Methods Patients who were treated in the maternity department in our hospital before and after the implementation of excellent nursing service were selected ( 1830 cases each).Qualification rate of maternal primary care and patient satisfaction were compared.Results After the implementation of excellent nursing service,the qualification rate of maternal primary care rose from 85.03％ to 93.99％,and patient satisfaction rose from 88.42％ to 96.39％.The differences were statistically significant ( x2 =78.252,82.979,respectively; P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusions Excellent nursing service can benefit for the improvement of quality of primary care in maternity department and promotion of clinical care,and should be extended in clinical application.
