Abstract

Energy distributions (ED) of secondary ions and excited particles are measured and analysed in this work. A comparison of positions of the secondary particle levels relative to the zone structure of solid shows that electron transitions between the particle and solid (and back) determine the form of ED, namely the relationship between low and high energy peaks.
