Abstract

There is a direct relationship between the degree of loading of a ball drum mill with grinding balls and the intensity of coal grinding. With an increase in the degree of loading of the ball mill, the intensity of coal grinding also increases. This is due to the fact that with an increase in the number of grinding balls inside the mill, coal is exposed to more intense friction forces and impacts, which leads to more efficient grinding of the material. However, it should be borne in mind that if the mill is loaded too much, there may be a problem with insufficient circulation of the material, which can lead to a decrease in the efficiency of the mill. Thus, the optimal degree of loading of the ball drum mill with grinding balls should be selected depending on the characteristics of the material and the operating conditions of the mill to achieve maximum efficiency of grinding coal
