Abstract

The relationships derived in this study provide estimates of the degree of utilization of the main subsystem of a mining operation and suggest improvements in cost effectiveness. In addition, the cost/benefit calculations yield optimal values of productive capabilities for operational mines depending on their technological structure, excavation depth, and specific geologic and mining conditions of breakage, as well as estimates of the optimal production potential of the main operation subsystems.
