Abstract
Multilayered polypropylene nonwoven fabrics were developed, and different properties of the nonwoven fabric samples were studied and compared for their suitability as thermal insulating material. The main aim of this study is to investigate the influence of structural parameters such as weight, thickness, density, porosity, fiber morphology, and fiber diameter on the thermal performance of multilayered nonwoven structures which was focused on the influence of weight, thickness, density, porosity, fiber morphology, and fiber diameter. The results of the study demonstrated that the thermal properties of the nonwoven materials vary significantly, depending on the structural parameters of the fabric.
