Abstract
Warm torsion tests were conducted on samples heated to the intercritical ( α+ γ) domain after holding times ranging from 1 to 30 min. A comparison of the kinetics of phase transformation with and without deformation indicated that the acceleration of transformation of ferrite into austenite was related with strain-induced dynamic transformation.
