Abstract

The spile-soil interaction has a great influence on the seismic response of bridges. In this paper, a three-span continuous box girder bridge with corrugated steel webs is taken as an example. The finite element model of a continuous girder bridge with corrugated steel webs has been established by Midas Civil considering spile-soil interaction. The influence of spile-soil interaction on the seismic response of corrugated steel web continuous girder bridges has been analyzed and summarized by comparing the seismic response of structures with spile-soil interactions and that without considering spile-soil interactions, providing reference for seismic design of similar bridge types.
