Abstract

The effect of some external and internal environmental and internal faectors on service firms' choice pf foreign market entry modes is investigated. Hypotheses are developed their international oprations. These hyphothese are emperically tested using logistic regression with data collected from 175 United State service firms. The results generally conform to prediction and indicate that the influence of environmental factors may vary in importance in different situations. Some managerial and theoretical implications of these efindings are presented.
