Abstract

Mn/TiO2 catalyst was prepared via a rheological phase method by selectively changing the precursor solution pH values (acid, neutral, alkaline) and investigated for the low temperature selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with NH3. Various characterization methods such as N2 adsorption, XRD, XPS, and H2-TPD were conducted to probe the physical and chemical properties of the catalyst samples. The contents and distributions of Mn[Formula: see text], Mn[Formula: see text], and Mn[Formula: see text] of the catalysts were tested quantitatively by chemical titration. The catalysts with high content of Mn[Formula: see text] and Mn[Formula: see text] and superior specific surface area prepared under neutral and alkaline condition exhibit better catalytic activity at low temperature.
