Abstract

The solar neutrino problem is considered within the framework of a model based on the gauge group SU(2)L×SU(2)R×U(1)B−L. An evolutionary equation is found for the eight-component wave function\(\Psi ^T = \left( {v_{eL} ,v_{XL} ,N_{eR} ,N_{XR} ,\bar v_{eL} ,\bar v_{XL} ,\bar N_{er} ,\bar N_{XR} } \right)\) and a scheme for possible resonant transitions is determined with allowance for the Majorana nature of the neutrino. The influence of solar flares on the oscillation pattern of the neutrino flux is investigated.
