Abstract

Lithium substituted copper ferrite (LixCu(1−x)Fe2O4) nanoparticles have been successfully synthesized by chemical co-precipitation method. XRD analysis confirms the formation of Li substituted Cu ferrite with crystallite size in the range of 17–41nm. The SEM and TEM microstructure of nanoparticle is well characterized and fine nature improves while increasing of Li concentration and also FTIR analysis exhibit the usual behaviour of ferrite materials. The dielectric properties of the material are increased with increase of concentration. The hysteresis loop is increased which is evident from the increase of saturation magnetization which implies that soft magnetic material has altered into hard magnetic material
