Abstract

Objective To analyze the differential expression of proteins in supematant of nenrolls cuhured under simulated mierogravity.Methods The simulated mierngravity neuron culture was performed using ro-tary cell culture system.Surface enhanced laser desorption/ionization(SELDI)mass spectrometry with Pro-teinChip WCX2 Was employed to compare the expressed proteins in supematant of neurons cultured mader simulated microgravity and normal gravity.Protein profiling was examined with a PBSII-C ProteinChip reader and proteome data were analyzed using Ciphergen ProteinChip Software 3.2.1.Results ProteinChip WCX2 captured 246 protein peaks in supematant of neurons cultured under simulated mierogravity and normal gravi-ty.Among the identified 14 differential proteins,11 showed a higher expression and 3 a lower expression ascompared with neurons culture under normal gravity.Conclusion Expression of proteins is different in su-pematant of neurons cultured under simulated microgravity and normal gravity.This may provide insights into the study of intluence of neuron cultured under mierogravity.
