Abstract
The aim of the work is to study the effect of silver doping on the structure and mechanical properties of porous titanium nickelide alloys obtained by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS). The structure of the samples was studied using X-ray diffraction analysis, scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The mechanical properties of porous alloys were studied in compression tests. An increase in the volume fraction of the B19’ martensitic phase, intermetallic compounds based on the Ti2Ni and a decrease in the volume fraction of austenite with the B2 structure with an increase in the silver content were established. An increase in the plasticity of porous titanium nickelide alloys with an increase in the concentration of silver in the composition while maintaining the ultimate strength was revealed. The research was carried out with financial support of the Russian Science Foundation under the Grant No. 22-72-10037, https://rscf.ru/project/22-72-10037/.
