Abstract

Influence of shape of electron arrival-time spectra (ATS) obtained in an electrical shutter drift tube experiment on electron transport coefficients has been investigated. The result shows that the coefficients deduced by the ATS method are not affected by the ATS shape. While it is confirmed that the conventional TOF (Time Of Flight) method gives different values to the coefficients depending on the ATS shape.
