Abstract

ABSTRACTThe influence of SBS and SBR on the properties of cement emulsified asphalt mortar was studied. The results show that the fluidity and air content of mortars decrease with the SBR content, and increase with the SBS content. The type and content of modifiers have significant effect on the later strength of mortars. The toughness of mortars increases with the increase of modifier content, and decreases with the age. After 100 freeze-thaw cycles, the quality and the strength loss of mortars increase, and the strength loss of mortars with SBS is lower than that with SBR.
