Abstract

The sonication-driven suspensions of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) were prepared using the polyvinyl pyrrolidone as a dispersant. UV-visible absorbency, surface tension, zeta potential, adsorption isotherm and transmission electron microscopy, were used to characterize the homogeneity and stability of MWNTs suspensions with different concentrations of polyvinyl pyrrolidone. All results show that the optimum concentration of polyvinyl pyrrolidone in suspension is 0.5 g/L.
