Abstract

A negative temperature dependence is observed for the resistivity of ion implanted InMn alloys below 5 K. The slope of the curves, where ϱ is proportional to ln T, is strongly influenced by lattice disorder. Oxygen, additionally incorporated into the host lattice, does not significantly change the Kondo resistivity but causes a remarkable variation in the pair breaking behaviour. Both effects are discussed within the Kondo picture for dilute magnetic alloys.
