Abstract

The prime concern of present research entails the influence of workplace behaviors on negative emotions that instigated due to less organizational support and unjust behavior. The study extends and empirically investigate knowledge about organizational justice and organizational support perceived by employees that influence deviant behaviors. The study was conducted on public sector universities’ employees of Punjab (Pakistan) where random sampling was used and total 308 responses were received from public sector universities of Punjab and the federal territory of Pakistan through adopted questionnaires and analyzed by utilizing PLS techniques measurement model assessment and structural assessment model. Results of the study depicted interesting results that direct hypotheses influence the relationship; the moderating role of religious aspect was evident between organizational justice and negative behavior but there is no moderate effect on the relationship between perceived organizational support and deviant behavior. The study suggests educational institutes to ensure organizational justice in their decisions and must be supportive of their employees. The study also encourages adopting religious values to avoid negative emotions and behaviors.
