Abstract

Objective To investigate the role that nursing intervention played in improving the lung function of the patiens with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) during rehabilitation period.Methods 80 patients with COPD were given comprehensive nursing intervention,including psychological,nutrition,respiratory rehabilitation,oxygen therapy,cough,and expectoration guidances.The patient's lung function,symptoms of breath shortness,blood gas analysis,breathing,pulse etc.were analyzed before and after the nursing intervention.Results The patient's lung function,symptoms of breath shortness,blood gas analysis,breathing,and pulse were better after than before the nursing intervention(P<0.05).Conclusions Comprehensive nursing intervention can improve COPD patients' lung function and their quality of life and maintain the treatment results.
