Abstract

The model of nonlocal thermoelasticity is applied on a half-space overlaid by a thick layer of different materials, depending on generalized thermoelasticity theories (L. S). To solve this problem we take the upper surface is to be traction-free and is subjected to a constant thermal shock. The analytical expressions for temperature, displacement, and stresses were obtained by using the Laplace transform technique. Besides, comparisons are presented in graphs to illustrate the effects of different factors.
