Abstract
High oil flow rates are connected with zones of increased rock permeability due to rock fracturing in the crests of neotectonic uplifts. Altimetry analysis provides the possibility for selection of highly prospective areas for well drilling. The efficiency of its use in combination with seismic surveys and drilling is shown.
