Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Placement Motivation and Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT PLN (Persero) Generation Main Unit in Southern Sumatra. The research design uses the causality method with the Multiple Linear Regression data analysis technique. The object of research is PT PLN (Persero) employees, with a total of 106 employees. The data collection method that the authors use in this study is a questionnaire carried out technically using Google Forms. The results showed that Placement, Motivation, and Work Environment positively and significantly affected the Performance of PT PLN (Persero) UIKSBS Employees. Furthermore, among the three independent variables in this study, the Variable that has a more dominant influence on Performance is the Placement Variable, namely 0.411 (Positive) on the Performance variable. In contrast, the remaining variables are Work Environment Variable 0.271 (Positive) and Motivational Variable 0.238 (Positive).
