Abstract

Abstract The influence of lanthanum, cerium, and neodymium on the corrosion behaviour of aluminium bronze has been studied in 1·7% (wt/vol.) H2SO4 at 30°C, using weight loss and potentiostatic polarisation techniques. Addition of these metals in small amounts was observed to improve corrosion resistance.
